Hire and
Operation Instructions for Inflatable equipment
The hire
of inflatable equipment is entirely at the discretion of the
supplier with regard to site suitability and weather conditions.
Delivery of the castle will included inflating the
castle by electric blower. A petrol generator can be supplied on
request - petrol is additional.
The
company reserves the right to cancel a booking.
The safe operation is the responsibility of the hirer
and Leisure Hire ltd can accept no liability for injuries
sustained or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of
the negligence of Leisurehire ltd or its employees.
The Hirer
must watch the activity on the equipment continuously, taking
appropriate action to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all
users, especially the smaller, more vulnerable participants.
If the
equipment is to be used for a public gathering, party, etc. the
Hirer must ensure that sufficient public liability insurance
cover is acquired. Leisure Hire Ltd cannot be held responsible
for any incidents which may occur during this time.
A
responsible person capable of exercising control over the users
should supervise the equipment.
A
responsible adult must stand on either side of the front of the
castle and supervise play on the castle at all times.
The use of
the equipment should be limited to those persons who, when
standing on the bouncing surface are no taller than the castle
walls.
The
operating area at the front of the castle must be kept clear
from onlookers and debris so that the operator has a clear field
of vision so that users can mount and alight safely. If
spectators are likely to become a problem in this respect, it
may be necessary to erect some form of crowd control barrier.
The barrier should be at least 1m/40” high and be capable of
withstanding people leaning or being pushed against it and
erected at least 1.8m from a walled side and 3.5m from an open
side.
When used
outdoors, the inflatable must be anchored down using all of the
points provided. The anchor stake must be inserted through the
hole in the anchor point and driven in flush with the ground.
The inflatable must not be set up in a wind higher than Force 5
on the Beaufort Scale.
Users MUST
remove their footwear (except socks) and any other hard, sharp
or dangerous objects from their person such as badges, purses,
buckles etc. Spectacles are best removed.
DO NOT
ALLOW rough horseplay or somersaults.
DO NOT
ALLOW USERS to climb or hang on to the inflatable. Should the
walls become torn due to extreme pressure being exerted on the
joint seams, Leisure Hire Ltd will charge the hirer any
reasonable repair costs as the units are not manufactured to
stand the stresses of adult use.
Larger
more boisterous users should be separated from smaller, more
timid ones. The number of users at anyone time must be limited
to allow each child enough room to play safely. Approximately 6
children on a 10ft or 12ft castle and approximately 10 children
on a 15ft castle. It is the responsibility of the hirer to
ensure the equipment is not overloaded to the detriment of the
users.
No food,
drink, cigarettes or party poppers are to be taken onto the
castle. No silly string is to be sprayed inside the castle. The
Hirer takes responsibility to ensure that there is no debris
left in the castle at the end of the hire period.
We do not supply petrol for the generators and
any petrol supplied will be charged at an additional cost. If
the generator stops working during the time of hire we cannot
return to fix it.
Use of
inflatable goods remain the property of Leisure Hire Ltd at all
times.
